The ultimate A to B

Lamborghini revealed the new Huracán EVO Rear-Wheel Drive Spyder during lockdown via Augmented Reality on its official website this month, and it’s quite possibly one of the most beautiful things we’ve ever laid our eyes on. The new V10 is an open-air celebration of lightweight engineering, with rear-wheel drive and a specially tuned Performance Traction Control System (PTCS). This sporty number is the kind of vehicle that demands and catches attention no matter where it’s viewed from. See for yourself.

From the front

The Huracán EVO RWD Spyder builds on the V10 Lamborghini’s powerful design with new front and rear features – including front splitter and vertical fins within the larger, framed front air intakes. Expect 610 hp (449 kW) and 560 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 324 km/h.

From the side

The exterior lines ensure that the drag reduction and downforce matches that of the coupé without requiring additional aerodynamic appendages, whilst enhancing the rearwheel drive car’s balance and dynamism. The gorgeous aluminum and thermoplastic resin body sits on a lightweight

hybrid chassis in aluminum and carbon fiber, and the wheels are 19” Kari rims with Pirelli P Zero tires.

From the top

The new soft-top roof operates up to 50 km/h, so you’ll really feel the true power and roar of the engine when you drop your top to embrace that Lamborghini drift, not to mention amazing visibility all round. When you’re done, it stows easily under the rear hood within 17 seconds (this can be done either stopped or at speed).

From the back

The rear bumper in high gloss black incorporates a new sharper diffuser unique to the Huracán EVO RWD Spyder. The rear retains classic, distinctive Lamborghini style, so there are zero chances of going unnoticed when you’re treading around town.

From Inside

Tech enthusiasts will love the Human Machine Interface 8.4” touchscreen in the Spyder’s center console. This controls the car’s functions as well as providing connectivity for telephone calls, internet access and Apple CarPlay. Amazon Alexa will be incorporated in the Huracán EVO range in late 2020 and will allow for in-car voice control too. Carbon Fiber sports seats offer both space and chic style.
