Ramy: Season 2
The Golden Globes awarded comedy returns for a second season. The comedy, starring Ramy Youssef and now Moonlight’s Mahershala Ali, follows confused-millennial, Ramy and his attempts to prove himself worthy as a Muslim. Currently, only four episodes are available for streaming, but the rest will arrive next week.

Blade Runner 2049
The sequel they didn’t think could be done, pulled off in spectacular fashion by Denis Villeneuve. Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford and a soundtrack and scale that will drop your jaw. Prepare for a dystopian movie night like no other, as the original Blade Runner is also available on Netflix.

Former Bond girl, Eva Green, stars in the debut season of the series alongside rising New Zealand stars in this fantasy about wealth. The romantic mystery, adapted from Eleanor Catton’s book, is set in New Zealand’s boom years of the mid-19th century gold rush and features the country’s flora and fauna.

Female Saudi-director, Abdullah Alomair, marks her Netflix debut with her thriller series Whispers. The eight-episode show explores social issues through the lens of six expectation-defying women who must deal with the death of the family patriarch. The cast includes emerging talent alongside Saudi-actor Abdulmohsen Alnemr.

Here’s one for all the DC fans. Batman assembles a team with fellow superheroes, inviting Aquaman and Wonder Woman to derail a new enemy. Just recently, it has been announced by director Zach Snyder that a new cut of the film will be released next year on HBO Max as he wasn’t able to be a part of post-production in 2016.

After the “Sudden Departure”, two per cent of the world’s population has vanished. In Mapleton, New York, a community of people struggle to rebuild their lives. The grim series, starring Justin Theroux, is based on the eponymous novel by Tom Perrotta. All three seasons of the HBO series will be available to stream.

Stray Bullet (Rasasa Taysheh)
This Lebanese drama stars GQ’s Woman of the Year, Nadine Labaki in 1976 Beruit as the soon-to-wed Noha. After deciding to go on a rendezvous with her old flame, Noha witnesses a violent incident that changes her outlook on life, including her wedding. The film premiered at multiple festivals including LFF and Dubai International Film Festival.

On a mission to creatively charge herself, Bernadette (Cate Blanchett) goes missing. Her daughter Becky (Troian Bellisario) embarks on a journey to track her mother down, only to be led back to her father in Antarctica. This mystery-comedy is an adaptation of the best-selling novel of the same name by Maria Semple.

Avengers: Infinity War
