Curated by NYU Abu Dhabi Assistant Professor of Practice of Design Felix Beck, and College of Arts and Creative Enterprises Faculty at Zayed University Marie-Claire Bakker, the exhibition is presented in conjunction with the Precious Plastic WANA Conference 2018, organised by the NYU Abu Dhabi Institute. The conference looks at the increasing plastic waste pollution in desert and marine ecosystems in the West-Asia, North Africa region (WANA) and focuses on how these communities address this issue by using low cost plastic recycling systems.
Plastic Fantastic is open until December 19
