Justin Bieber Challenged Tom Cruise To A Fight And Now It's All Kicked Off
In an unexpected move, pop wisp Justin Bieber yesterday challenged Tom Cruise to an MMA fight, and even Conor McGregor is all in – although, at this stage, Cruise is probably not.
What started out as a normal day of mindless tweeting from the 25-year-old Canadian warbler – framed around what has become a daily propaganda push for his single "I Don't Care" with Ed Sheeran – turned south pretty quickly as he followed it up with all sorts of crazy.
"I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to fight in the octagon. Tom if you don't take this fight your [sic] scared and you will never live it down. Who is willing to put on the fight? @danawhite?" tweeted Bieber.

At time of writing, that tweet has had 181k likes, 37.1k retweets and 32k comments – none of which, unfortunately from the 56-year-old Cruise.
But not one to have the UFC uttered without his involvement, former lightweight and featherwight champ, 30-year-old McGregor quickly waded in, offering to host the celebrity ruck, before dropping a challenge of his own.
"If Tom Cruise is man enough to accept this challenge, McGregor Sports and Entertainment will host the bout. Does Cruise have the sprouts to fight, like he does in the movies? Stay tuned to find out!" tweeted McGregor.

"I challenge Mark Wahlberg on the very same card. Back when Mark Wahlberg was Marky Mark, I’d’ve still slapped the ears off him and took my UFC shares back."

Things went totally tonto after that, which is probably the only direction you could have taken it. The last we heard on it all was a tweet from Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun, throwing out what, at this point, seems like a fairly plausible request for broken glass on the knuckles and a 'live bear' in attendance. Better than a dead one, we suppose, but don't even count that out at this stage.
Of course he did. Just a normal Sunday. But I have no interest in watching or helping in making this happen unless it includes crushed glass on the knuckles and a live bear released in to the octagon in the 4th round. Oh and the money should go to charity of course. https://t.co/Bq2RIUuLp7— Scooter Braun (@scooterbraun) June 10, 2019
In all honesty, while the dangerously in-shape, stunt-bothering, former high school wrestler Cruise, against the lightweight king of Dirtbag style Bieber may appear a forgone conclusion, McGregor up against Mark Wahlberg on the other hand, now that's actually something we could see being a decent scrap.
As the preparations September’s UFC 242 in Abu Dhabi continue, we'd like to jump in on this one and ask that UFC president, Dana White, stick either of these fights on the card. Dana, if you're reading this, the people have spoken. They REALLY want to see Justin Bieber roughed up by Tom Cruise.
What a time to be alive.
