See Inside Aaron Paul’s $3.2M Spanish-Style Casa In Hollywood Hills
In the last few years, Aaron Paul has emerged from something of a relatively obscure actor to a household name. Alongside Bryan Cranston, the Hollywood star impressed audiences with his portrayal of Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, but even six years on from the last episode, Pinkman has been busy exercising his creative capacities. He’s created a mezcal with his co-star called ‘Dos Hombres’, become a regular fixture on best-dressed lists, and welcomed a child with his wife, Lauren Parsekian.
As Paul’s life grows increasingly more chaotic and busy, it makes sense that floor space becomes something to be coveted. Which explains why Paul and his partner have moved into a large home in Los Feliz, putting their more recent abode up for sale with an asking price of $US2.198 million. The asking price might seem exorbitant, but after boasting the likes of Brad Pitt as an owner for a period in the ‘90s, it’s clearly a very necessary price tag.
Listed with Trevor Edmond, F. Ron Smith, David Berg with Smith & Berg Partners at Compass, the home sits above the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. It features four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and offers sweeping views of the Los Angeles cityscape that look like something out of a postcard. The views are mesmerising and the large windows that run throughout the mansion allow a flood of colour to light the open spaces.
The home has a Spanish-style décor that is distinctly typical of Southern California, with its high, arched doorways and wood-beamed ceilings. There’s a spacious living room with a large fireplace, a dining area that runs off the main entrance and foyer, and a kitchen that any foodie and avid entertainer would relish, with plenty of counter space and Sub-Zero and Viking appliances.
The second storey of the home has three bedrooms including a master suite with ample closet space, a full bath, and private balcony offering views of downtown L.A. And if the dining space still left you wanting more in terms of entertainment, there’s the private movie screening room, accompanied by a den and bar on the lower level of the house.
And while those features alone would be enough to send anyone reaching deep into their pockets, there’s also the private backyard to content with, promising an outdoor seating area with a fountain and fire pit.
The home’s interior is intimate and has a strong personality, while the outdoor elements offer expansive views of the cityscape and glory that is L.A. By all accounts, it’s every inch the L.A. dream.
