The BMW X7 fuses game-changing design with all-powerful performance. Oh, and it’s massive, too. The result? Supercharged SUV luxury

If there’s one thing that we know from driving on the roads of the Middle East, it’s that bigger is almost certainly better. Which is why we’re blown away by the BMW X7.

But while, yes, it’s something of a beautiful beast, the marque has managed to fuse presence on the road with the exclusivity and spaciousness of a luxury model and the agility and versatile driving properties a Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV).

The sleek design language
BMW has dialed the grille up to the max with the X7, and offers a punchy, extremely prominent front end, large windows, high ground clearance, a long roofline and a two-section split tailgate. The detail befits the luxury status, and includes extensive chrome elements and optional BMW Laserlight for next level visibility.

Underneath the grille you’ll find Driving Assistant Professional packed with features including a Steering and lane control assistant, Lane Change Warning and Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assistant and side collision protection, evasion aid, Crossing traffic warning, Priority warning and Wrong-way warning. Not to mention the latest generation of the BMW Head-Up Display. Emergency Stop Assistant and a Parking Assistant including rear view camera and Reversing Assistant as standard.

Once you move inside you’ll find some serious space across three rows of seats. Seven seats as standard – all of which fold and unfold at the touch of a button. Looking to increase the boot space? Simply fold down a couple of rows and fill the X7 up to your heart’s content. The air-suspension will keep your ride level.

The Teched-out cockpit
The X7 is the king of drive modes, while its Intelligent Personal Assistant performs role of digital co-driver and vehicle expert and activates in-car experiences. Operated by natural voice command. BMW Digital Key allows customers to use their smartphone for vehicle access and engine start-up.
