The king of understated British chic, Eddie Redmayne's got it sussed

Referencing, everyone's at it. Normani just referenced every female pop star going in that “Motivation” video (if you haven't seen it, we're surprised), while G-Eazy seemingly just referenced David and Victoria Beckham's matching leather suits from 1999 and Harry Styles has made more nods than we've had Pret lunches to the likes of David Bowie and Elton John in the past (keep 'em coming Styles). And now Eddie Redmayne appears to be at it, paying homage (we hope) to Beckham's GQ US cover from 2016.

The said cover saw Becks don a leather biker jacket over a shirt and tie, not only looking excellent and chic, but demonstrating how to be an in-office-rebel in a super easy way. Redmayne's take on the look? A black leather biker by Celine (c/o Hedi Slimane) worn over a crisp white shirt and teamed with a skinny black tie – all in aid of his attendance at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival.

And we're more than here for it. But what we're actually taking from this move is that it's time to whip out a leather jacket yourself. The humble leather biker jacket is about to become your best trans-seasonal friend.

The best you can get your hands on right now? The very one Redmayne just wore. But if your pockets aren't deep enough to bag yourself some Celine we've found another few options too.
