The biggest menswear flexes from the second day of Pitti Uomo AW20

Day 2 of Pitti Uomo, and the prevailing trend seems to be towards hats. Sure, it’s cold in Florence in January, but the utilitarian beanies and trapper hats you’d expect were replaced by something altogether more...western.

In fact, ‘proper’ hats were out in force. Think Crombies, preacher hats and even Stetsons. The fine felt, wide brimmed headwear was dressed up with suits and down, being used to add an incongruous finishing touch to a hoodie and bomber jacket.
