Egypt and Liverpool’s star striker and GQ Middle East’s man of the year in the latest drop from adidas

What do you do when you’re the star striker of a club as synonymous with terrace fashion as Liverpool? You start dressing accordingly, obviously.

Case in point, GQ Middle East’s Man of the Year and December cover star Mo Salah, seen here wearing the latest adidas Originals adicolour drop.

In these shots, taken for the launch of the latest adicolor collection, Salah is pictured going ‘full-look’ and all the better for it. The tracksuit he’s wearing features adidas’ iconic trefoil logo on both the jacket (obviously...) and on the trousers. It’s worn baggy because as every footballer knows, it needs to be big enough to pull on over your kit post-training.

Salah had a stellar 2019, winning our Man of the Year award, the Champion’s League and captaining his national side for the first time in his career.

When did I want to play again after winning the Champions League final? The next day. The very next day.” He told GQ Middle East when we spoke to him in October. No wonder he’s as good as he is.

This new collection is shot on the Egyptian star striker and is the reworking of the classic adicolor line launched in the 1970s. Including hoodies, t-shirts, jackets and accessories in both black and red colourways. All the pieces are accented with an updated trefoil logo.

The collection is available now in the GCC at adidas stores and, starting from AED49.
