We emerged into the sunlight and went exploring.

Paris is a city of contrasts. It's grimy, yet coated in a consummate sheen of glamour and beauty. It's noisy, crowded, and imposing, but at the same time romantic and thoroughly civilised. It's dirt poor, yet stinking rich. Quite simply, it's Paris, and when you do it the right way, it's one of the greatest places in the world to explore. We decided to put together a small list of places to check out the next time you embark on a fashion crusade to the city of lights.

Hotel Vernet

Stay At: Hotel Vernet
Address: 25 Rue Vernet, 75008 Paris
The Run Down: Only a stone’s throw away from Paris’s buzzing, decadent Champs-Élysées , it’s quiet, calm and feels very private. The bathrooms are unreal, the ornate lift takes you back to a simpler time, and the lavishly decorated rooms blend modern design with timeless luxury in the way that only a proper Parisian hotel can.

Indulge At: Caviar Kaspia
Address: 17 Place de la Madeleine, 75008 Paris
The Run Down: Caviar Kaspia is exactly what it sounds like: proper, old-school luxury dining, dedicated to the art of curating the world's finest, most luxurious Caviar list. A favourite of Paris’s fashion elite, it played host to SSS World Corp’s A/W18 show in January. No-one in the world does potato with cavier like it.

Dine At: L'Acajou
35bis Jean de la Fontaine Street, 75016 Paris
The Run Down: L'Acajou translates to "The Mahogany", something that becomes abundantly clear as soon as you step into its ultra-luxurious, dark and cosy dining space. The food matches the theme, with Chef Jean Imbert's decadent modern french menu making L'Acajou a favourite of stars like Margot Robbie, Pharrell, Kristen Stewart, and Robert De Niro.

Have A Night Cap At: L'Avenue
Address: 41 Avenue Montaigne, 75008 Paris
The Run Down: A place for late night feasting and drinking, L'Avenue is one of the city's most in-demand after-hours haunts, open until 2AM most nights with a constant flow of top-shelf liquor and food in one of the city's most effortlessly cool settings. 20 minutes after we left GQ US's now-legendary Paris Fashion Week party at L'Avenue, Virgil Abloh and A$AP Rocky showed up. That should tell you everything you need to know.

Louis Vuitton Foundation

Get Your Culture Fix At: The Louis Vuitton Foundation
Address: 8 Avenue du Mahatma Gandhi, 75116 Paris
The Run Down: The LV Foundation is Louis Vuitton's gift back to the city that has become truly synonymous with its identity. An incredibly curated space of art, installations, fashion and culture in the heart of vibrant western paris, it's a space for the brand to give back to the community that fostered it over the decades, and a place to see some of the best modern art anywhere in the city right now.

Explore The Curious At: Palais de Tokyo
Address: 13 Avenue du Président Wilson, 75116 Paris
The Run Down: One of paris's largest and most celebrated contemporary art museums, Palais de Tokyo is France's answer to MONA, if you will. It's chief highlight right now covers the front of the museum's main entrance, in the form of an incredible life-sized dollhouse sculpture from the Childhood-themed exhibition of Japanese contemporary artist Amabouz Taturo.
