Kick back and relax in this one-of-a-kind oasis

If you’re anything like us, our mind, bodies and souls are in desperate need of a detox after the madness of the festive season, so checking into a luxurious wellness retreat that isn’t too far from home sounds like a pretty good idea, wouldn’t you agree?

There’s a treatment package for everyone

The resort is the first holistic wellbeing retreat in the Middle East – and it’s proving popular with local, international and, well, basically anyone in need of a little R&R. Take your pick from six tailored treatment packages including yoga and mindfulness, weight management and detox and cleanse where you’ll be welcomed into the hands of the experts. You can thank us later.

A luxury accommodation

With the feeling of seclusion born out of its location on the Palm Jumeirah’s east crescent, the resort boasts 255 rooms and suites. Now this might seem on the large side for a wellness resort, but the vibe here is intimate bordering on familial – with flawlessly hospitable staff tending to your every need. Rooms are decorated in a contemporary design and earthy finish – no doubt an intention to further spread the Zen. Our recommendation? Splash out on the penthouse suite with its sun-drenched private terrace complete with Jacuzzi.

Get your greens

While you’ll find a great selection of food at the resort’s four bars and restaurants – a visit to Vibe with its live cooking stations and various themed nights is an absolute must. Counteract any cheat day with a trip to Ripples Juice Bar, where you’ll find your kale fix – this is a wellness retreat after all. Meanwhile, the open-air bar serves up healthy juices and smoothies around-the-clock to ensure you’re never far away from something healthy.

There are air-conditioned cabanas

In a part of the world where it’s too hot to sit outside for pretty much half of the year, the resort has killed it with its air-conditioned cabanas. Perfectly positioned on a boardwalk along a white stretch of private beach, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai’s awesome skyline
from the comfort of your own temperature-controlled pod.

Bookings with benefits

If you are looking for your stay to go that little bit further, Accor Hotel Group’s loyalty programme – named Accor Live Limitless – is a concept that goes beyond hotels. Yeah, there’s points, access to special offers, upgrades and late check-outs, but you’ll also get premium access to entertainment and sporting venues around the world. Just call it a life upgrade.
