The Hermès Carré H 2.0 is here – we got a first look at the Parisian brand's re-edition of an old favourite

The Carré H has been a part of Hermès' watch collection since 2010 and it has been given a sporty update in time for the Geneva SIHH Watch Fair, which started today.

Originally conceived in collaboration with French designer Marc Berthier, last year's re-edition of the Carré H featured an upsized stainless-steel case, guilloché dial and subtly balanced Arabic numerals. Well now, as well as these features, you can add a supple leather strap into the mix, thanks to a fresh 2019 update.

You can choose from a black or natural Barenia calf strap, which has been crafted in the workshops of La Montre Hermès in Brügg and features red or yellow detailing to match the hands of the watch, in turn adding a sportier touch to one of the chicest watches out there.
