Works of mechanical and kinetic art by both Middle Eastern and international artists will be showcased at the new gallery, with a display of geometrically engineered kinetic art by Dutch artist, Jennifer Townley, currently premiered as part of the launch. Entitled ‘Perpetual Transience II’, the exhibition will be on view until 18th January 2019.

MB&F was founded in 2005 by ex-Harry Winston Rare Timepieces CEO Maximilian Büsser, and comes with a single mission: to work with the most talented independent horological professionals to push the limits of horology. The collections are available in Dubai through Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons.

Speaking about the new Dubai opening and current exhibition, Max commented, “The M.A.D. Gallery was specifically designed to welcome artists like Jennifer Townley, who have made it their lifelong mission to create and embrace kinetic art. When I asked Jennifer why she only created one-of-a-kind art pieces, knowing how incredibly time consuming each piece is, she replied that her artistic freedom demanded it. For that, we salute her incredible integrity and talent.”
